About this printThe Snow Pits in Winter – Landscape
The glacial cirques of the Snow Pits are among the wildest places in the Krkonoše. In winter their walls are covered in snow and ice, the gullies between the rocks draw sharp lines, and the chalet on the edge of the drop looks tiny in that vast landscape.
The photograph was taken by Betty Štěpánová, a photographer from the Krkonoše mountains. It is printed on an aluminium panel and can hang on its own or in a frame.
